One sister brought years of experience from Nanaimo, BC, Canada, where she opened and ran a Thai restaurant. Her brother fell in love with American comfort food and started a burger restaurant back in Bangkok, Thailand. And another sister helped pave the way here in Katy, building a life in the community where we raise our kids and where we now call home.

When we came together to create Ember + Lotus, we wanted it to feel personal — Thai food the way we like to eat it, full of the herbs, spices, heat, and balance we grew up with, alongside the Texas smoke, barbecue, and local flavors we’ve come to love. This restaurant is our way of bringing those pieces of our story together and sharing them with friends, neighbors, and families here in Katy.
